In this universe that is ever in a state of apparent flux, we actually inhabit different worlds from each moment to every moment. Let every one of these moments of our lives be the celebration of a new year! Do not dwell upon the past and plan the future with optimism! Cease worrying about the future! Leave everything in God’s hands! It is enough if we do not stray away from His grace.

How can we ensure that are always within the ambit of His grace? We come under His protection when we are contented with what we have; developing mutual trust, love and developing the disposition to serve others. Our external and internal natures are harmonious and intimately connected. By purifying our internal nature, the external nature around us is also sanctified.

Never attempt to renew the old because they manifest in new forms!
Never attempt to transform the new into the old because time takes care of this transformation!

On the eve of this NEW YEAR, may God bestow His blessings on all living beings in the world who can view things with equanimity instead of classifying them as “new and old” or “good and bad”.
